Rakhine is spoken in Burma, formerly known as Arakan State. It is a state on the western coast of Burma bordered by Chin State to the north, Magway Region, Bago Region, and Ayeyarwady Region to the east, the Bay of Bengal to the west, and Bangladesh's Chittagong Division The city of Sittwe is the capital and largest settlement in Rakhine State, located approximately between 17°30' and 21°30' north latitude and 92°10' and 94°50' east longitude. North to South, the Arakan Mountains or Rakhine Yoma separate Rakhine State from central Burma.  Ngapali one of Rakhine State's most beautiful beaches. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the sun, sand and sea. There are also plenty of activities to keep you busy, from swimming and sunbathing to windsurfing, kayaking and snorkeling.

The best time to visit Rakhine Region in Myanmar is during the dry season from October to April. The region experiences heavy rainfalls from May to September, so visiting during this time can be quite challenging. The easiest way to get to Rakhine Region is by flying into Sittwe Airport. There are a few ways to get to Rakhine Region. You can fly into  Sittwe Airport, which is the capital of Rakhine Region. You can also take a bus or train from Yangon or Mandalay. And finally, you can take a boat from Myanmar's coastal city of Kyaukpyu.
